A couple months back I ran a few gaming friends through Hope’s Last Day, the included adventure in Fria Ligan’s Alien: the roleplaying game core rulebook.
While the adventure proper is well laid out and organized, I have a terrible time trying to parse and use a lot of published adventures. It’s a kinetic learning thing, I retain the most info by writing things down and by making things myself. So I took a lot of notes on the adventure, which gave me an excuse to draw a bunch of aliens…which I love doing.

The session itself was a lot of fun, and went really smoothly thanks to these notes. I mentioned in my impressions of the core rulebook, I really love this roleplaying game system and am eager to play and design more for it.
